This week wasn't too hard. I've done this a few times, and although I could definitely feel my abs by the second workout session, having gone through it before I knew that pain will resolve with just a few more workouts. I did feel like I need more structure to get me to fit in everything that I need. I'd start with core workouts, which always went well, but was a bit more flexible with the leg and arm weights, which led to me slacking more than I would if I planned exactly what I was going to do in advance. I think going forward, I'd like to set some specific resistance goals for the future to help motivate me. One that helped push me in the past was my desire to do a pull-up. I didn't quite get there, but my arms got a stronger with that goal in mind pushing my workouts.
I've decided that in the next couple weeks I'm going to try to tackle some of the habits that I've been more reluctant to write about, because that reluctance is exactly why I need to work on them.
